Vidya Living’s Inner Wisdom Retreats are immersive retreat experiences that merge the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda with the spirit of place. THE IMMERSION
Immerse yourself in the experience of Yoga and Ayurveda with daily movement, meditation, interactive workshops, hands-on cooking classes, rejuvenating Ayurvedic body treatments, and adventures into the rich local landscape of southern Portugal. Each day of the retreat is designed around the senses, the six tastes and the elements, weaving together food, breath, mantra, sound, ceremony and play in the sun and sea.

Shared Suite – Twin Bed
A single day bed in a shared suite or villa with shared bathroom, great for the budget traveler.

Shared Suite – Double Bed
A double bed in a private room within a shared suite or villa + shared bath, for the solo traveler who wants a little privacy but is open to sharing a suite.

Private Room – Single
A double bed in a private room with private bath, for the solo traveler seeking solitude.

Private Room – Couples/Double Occupancy
A double bed in a private room with private bath, this rate is for 2 people traveling together who don’t mind sharing a room.

TRAVEL
Please note, airfare & travel costs not included in the retreat rate. We recommend flying into the Faro Airport, which is approximately 45 minutes from the retreat center. We will be offering a roundtrip airport transfer from the Faro Airport to/from the retreat center for an additional $80 add-on. If flying into Lisbon, rental cars are also readily available and the 2.5-hour drive to the retreat center takes you through the beautiful country side to the Algarve. We focus on supporting local producers and work with organic ingredients grown with intention as the center point of every meal, which is why we support the greater efforts of raising awareness around sustainability and agricultural biodiversity. A portion of our retreat proceeds will go to Vandana Shiva’s International Seed Saving Organization, supporting biodiversity and women in agriculture.
