Get ready! Julie and I are back in the kitchen for our in-depth cooking course this Fall! 
Our Kitchen Intuition Course is a 4-class live cooking immersion where you’ll cultivate your intuition in the kitchen. You’ll learn what and how to cook according to your doshic imbalances so that your food can become your medicine and the source of your wellbeing. Together, we will discuss stages of life, climates, seasons, special needs and the passages of time that influence your body and mind. You’ll learn how to identify signs and symptoms of imbalance, and how to plan and cook meals to keep you in good health.
Part lecture and discussion, part interactive cooking class—each class we will explore how to use specific foods and cooking methods to balance Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Rather than eating for your body type, you’ll learn how to properly apply these different diets according to what your body needs. Whether you’re new to cooking or a seasoned chef, this course teaches you how to think about food in a whole new way.
Over two weekends, you’ll join us via Zoom where we’ll gather as a group—in our own kitchens. As we demo how to make each dish, you’ll be cooking alongside us while walking you through the process each step of the way. This is truly a hands-on immersion where you get a chance to practice with us live and ask your questions as we move along through the recipes and learning topics.

HOW IT WORKS
Over two weekends, you’ll join us via Zoom where we’ll gather as a group—in our own kitchens. At the end of each class, we’ll have finished dishes to sit down with and enjoy together. You’ll not only learn the techniques, but you’ll get to taste and experience

 this nourishing food and build your confidence in the kitchen along the way. We’ll also explore the weeks’ themes through lecture and discussion within each session.
Live classes are 3 hours, including time Q&A at the end as we share our meal together.As part of the course, you’ll receive access to our exclusive course platform where you’ll find shopping lists, prep tips, and information to prepare you for each week’s class. After each live session, the video recording will be posted in the course platform to review. You’ll have an additional four months after the end of the course to access all course recordings and download course materials if you can’t join the group live.

CAN I TAKE THE KITCHEN INTUITION IF I HAVEN’T DONE FOUNDATIONS YET?

All Foundations alumni and new students are welcome to join this course. If you are new to Ayurveda, we encourage to take our Foundations course, too! We’ll be building on the foundational Ayurvedic concepts that we’ve covered in our first course. You can purchase the Foundations course and Kitchen Intuition course together as a bundle and save $250!

*Please note: The Kitchen Intuition course was previously called Level 2. If you already took our Level 2 course, you’re welcome to join us again for a 50% discount. We’ll be cooking the same recipes but as always, it’s good to refresh your knowledge and we share new insights everytime! Please email us for your discount code.

DO I NEED PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH AYURVEDA OR COOKING?

All experience levels are welcome—including those brand new to Ayurveda and cooking. This course is designed to be accessible for all, no matter your skill or experience level.

HOW LONG DO I HAVE ACCESS TO THE COURSE?

We encourage you to join us live for the classes! But if you can’t make it, you’ll have four additional months to watch the recordings after the program ends. If you purchased the Foundations & Kitchen Intuition bundle, you will be able to download the Foundations recordings to watch anytime at your convenience.

WHAT IF I CAN’T JOIN LIVE?

No problem; this is the case for many of our students who join from other parts of the world. The recordings will be uploaded to the course platform within 24 hours so you can watch them when you have time. You’ll have access to all class recordings for the duration of the course and 4 months thereafter. As for your questions, you can email them to us and we’ll address them in the live classes.

DO I NEED ANY SPECIAL EQUIPMENT?

Here’s what we’ll be using:

  • Stovetop – no oven needed
  • 2 small pots with lids
  • 10” or bigger sauté, cast iron or frying pan
  • Cutting board
  • A sharp knife
  • Mortar and pestle or coffee grinder for spice grinding
  • Cooking spoons
  • Mixing bowls
  • Small/large sieves
  • High-Speed Blender

WHAT’S YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Full refunds are available within 30 days of purchasing the Kitchen Intuition course. Once course access opens October 15th, there will be no refunds of any kind. The Foundations course is non-refundable. Early Bird Pricing ends August 31st & Payment Plans close September 20th.
